There are a few items to check if this error message presents on your IonCleanse Solo by AMD.

  1. Ensure the array cord is fully plugged into the front of the machine. Unplug the array, and plug it back in. You should feel 3 distinct "clicks" as you insert it. Be firm, but not forceful. Check to see if the error has cleared. If the machine is running, it may take up to 10 seconds to clear the message and beeping.

  2. Inspect the array. Flip your array upside down and examine the 7 metal "panels" (or "plates" as we call them). Ensure that none of the plates is touching another. If any of the plates are touching, gently wiggle them to space them out. Even if they're spaced just a fraction of an inch apart, that is enough to clear this error message (again, if the machine is running, it may take up to 10 seconds to clear).

  3. Check your salt level. Adding high amounts of salt to the water (which in some cases may be only a teaspoon) can also cause this error message. Start with a fresh supply of water and add salt in 1/8 teaspoon increments while swishing the array between each addition. Take care that your volts do not drop below 10.
