Taking your IonCleanse by AMD system with you on trips can benefit the whole family! A few things to consider:

  1. It may be better/easier/cheaper to ship the machine to your destination. Check rates with UPS and the Post Office and compare. If you decide to ship the machine, we advise you to insure it for the full retail amount in case it is lost or damaged beyond repair. We also recommend that you ship it in its protective carrying case surrounded by bubble wrap or packing peanuts. You probably do not want to ship the IonCleanse tub; shipping the tub might increase your costs significantly, and you can probably get a disposable dishpan at a Target store local to your destination.  
  2. If you choose to fly with the IonCleanse by AMD take note:
    • Carry-on baggage - If you choose this option, you shouldn’t have any issues with TSA.  The machine will not be harmed going through the X-ray equipment, and there shouldn’t be any concerns from the agents.
    • Checked baggage - if you choose this option, make sure the machine is packed very well! We advise that you pack it in its carrying case. We recommend checked baggage as a last option, as luggage is rarely handled with care, and the IonCleanse by AMD is not made to withstand big impacts.
